Given the decreasing official support for projects in Afghanistan, the Chak-e-Wardak hospital is largely dependant on private donations for its survival. We would like to invite you to participate in a successful project and support Karla Schefter´s work through a donation or a sponsorship.

It does not take much. Small sums go a long way in Afghanistan. With only US$ 0,50 per day, US$ 5,00 per month or US$ 180,00 a year you can make a substantial contribution. As a sponsor you will receive our project reports twice a year. Both donations and sponsorship contributions are tax deductable.
Once you have convinced yourself of the meaningfulness and quality of our work, please let others know about it! Talk to your friends, relatives and colleagues! This kind of 'snowball-effect' through mouth to mouth propaganda is essential in keeping our advertising costs at a minimum low.
